Rainbow Salad

Salad No.35 Rainbow Salad

Zataar mix got many readers intrigued and exited. So today i made another one using it. Za'atar as a prepared condiment is generally made with ground dried thyme, oregano, marjoram, or some combination thereof, mixed with toasted sesame seeds, and salt. The lebanese one taste different than the jordanian one(fyi). Though i am totally GO LOCAL AND EAT LOCAL person, I have kept these ones as exceptional as they have a liking for this taste with my years of travel and stay in that side of the continent.i I still have 65 more salads to make so itna toh chal jayegaπŸ˜„

Todays salad is special as i made it with fresh peanuts, its some work cutout to wash, boil and dessed them...however the taste and its goodness is unmatched.
This salad is a melange of a lot of goodies in one. I was totally full after eating a bowl full.of it. However knowing how easily and quickly these salads get digested, i had it along with a bowl of rice and whole moong coconut dal.

RECIPE:

1. Toss together steamed depodded fresh peanuts along with julliene of radish, red bell pepper, tomato and cucumber
2. Add slivered almonds, black raisins
3. Add lime juice, rock salt and zataar mix.
4. Toss everything and enjoy this gift from mother earth 😍
