I thought of naming it sumo salad as if you eat a decent size bowl of this salad you are done with your entire days protein and you can be full for a very long time. Ideal when we are into intense workout or do intense yoga. Soya, groundnut and chickpeas all will take lil extra time to digest however the addition of loads of raw vegetable keeps it balanced. I added baby raw mango(pic attached ) which was the different element in this dish. The tartness from the raw mango in salt brine was just yummilicious.Throughly enjoyed making this one and relishing it thereafter😊 RECIPE: • Prep mini soya chunks and stir fry in cast iron pot on a high flame. Once charred add rock salt and dhaniya jeera powder. keep it aside. • Toss together, soaked groundnut, soft cooked Ckickpeas, lots of chopped brined raw mango, chopped coriander and mint along with tomatoes.  With this salad posted I am half way through my #100saladpact. It taught me to get into a habit of enjoying raw food and look at food very differently. Its actually humbling to pay attention to food which is LIFE and how I have been looking at it all my life. RECIPE: Tightly steam beetroot along with soaked peanuts. When warm, add freshly grated coconut and rock salt. As these ingredients where freshly procured from the farm, I didint have the heart to do add anything more in it. Mustard is one of my favorite ingredient, be it in any form color or shape, I love it. Was thinking of making the mustard dressing since sometime now. Today I finally remembered to use it in a very simple way. Dijon mustard has a sharp flavour and is best accompanied with cucumber according to me. This salad was also prepared in a jiffy. RECIPE: Dressing 1. Mix a tsp of Dijon Mustard with equal quantity honey, a dash of lime juice, rock salt and pepper. Stir n keep aside. 2. This salad was made by keeping in mind two request. One by Sadhguru's lil girl Jahanvi and Lakshmi Garu who wanted some more salad dressing. I tried this toasted seseame dressing keeping in mind Lohri/ Sankranti is here. RECIPE: Dressing 1. Mix some toasted unpolished seseame seed along with lil honey, dried pomogrante seeds powder, black pepper and rock salt. Stir n keep aside. 2. Toss together some cooked chickpea, shreeded carrot, white radish and capsicum. This is a no brain teaser salad. It was prepared by using some of the fresh produce I got hold of from the farmers market yesterday. The combination of pineapple and cucumber was suggested by the same person who inspired me to take up this pact. I remain in gratitude for always guiding me. RECIPE: 1. Fresh baby peas are best eaten at this time of the year. The frozen ones aren't any good anyways 😑 So be it Aloo Mattar or Gajjar Mattar, enjoy it all when they r freshly available. Today I mixed these babies with my last pot of whole steamed groundnut and some fruits. Here the local bazaar at BHEL on Wednesday are loaded with some freshest produce from the farms. Wholesome One Pot Salad

This one is surely from my MUST TRY SALAD LIST. As the name says, its wholesome, super tasty and loaded with nutrition. One bowl of this salad and hunger can wait outside your mind for a long time😉 Protein load from soya chunks, almond powder and coconut. The veggies added gave it the needed crunch and texture. Eat it along with a glass of sanjeevani...ideal sadhana brunch. Surely do try this one. RECIPE: 1. Prep the soya chunk and toss it in a high flame pan with little oil,till its lightly brown from outside. Add rock salt, pepper and freshly grated coconut. Switch off the flame and add the almond powder, it will coat the soya well. ( almond powder is not a must, if you don't have it, don't feel bad as it only adds a lil to the taste) 2. Add Thinly sliced cabbage,cucumber, chopped coriander and mint with lots of lime juice and lightly season with rock salt. 3. Lobiya/Chawli or Blackeye cow pea is high in its pranic value and super nutritious too. This is the 2nd salad using this ingredient along with soaked groundnut. Whenever we boil whole pulses, keep some aside and get into the habit of putting at least 50% raw ingredients with it. It's a great way to eat and enjoy them. RECIPE: 1. Steam n cook the soaked lobiya Beans until soft. 2. Salad No.35 Rainbow Salad Zataar mix got many readers intrigued and exited. So today i made another one using it. Za'atar as a prepared condiment is generally made with ground dried thyme, oregano, marjoram, or some combination thereof, mixed with toasted sesame seeds, and salt. The lebanese one taste different than the jordanian one(fyi). Salad No.34 Peanut Almond Zatar Salad Today's Salad is a protein blast vegan delight. People usually sweat about how does vegans match up with the daily protein intake. With salads like this and lentils in our diet, we can totally forget about this issue. I incorporated one of my favorite middle eastern spice mix called ZATAR.
